Dr Rajas B Patel is a senior oncologist based in Navi Mumbai. He is the founder of RH Clinic – Cancer & Rheumatology Treatment Centre, a specialty center for oncology, committed to making the latest innovations in the field of cancer prevention and treatment accessible to patients in India. The clinic has gained recognition for the quality of treatment and post-treatment care offered to patients, as well as for its holistic, empathetic approach. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at Dr DY Patil Medical College in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. Through his career, Dr Patel has contributed his expertise and research to several prominent medical journals – his paper on Primary Malignant Melanoma of Breast: A Unique Case Report was published in the Indian Journal of Case Reports in February 2019, while his report on Loss of HER-2 Expression After Trastuzumab Treatment In Locally Advanced Breast Cancer: A Case Report was published in Annals of International Medicine & Dental Research in 2017. He was a part of the European Society of Medical Oncology Academy 2019, in Oxford, England, and presented a paper on Metabolic Syndrome: A Risk Factor Of Cardiovascular Diseases at the MEDIACE-2015 conference. He is also a member the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Association of Medical Consultants (AMC), Mumbai and the International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA).
Having completed his MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Dr Patel pursued an MD in General Medicine from the Padmashree Dr. D Y Patil University of Navi Mumbai and obtained a Fellowship in Medical Oncology from the Maharashtra Universe of Health Sciences, Nasik at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai. Dr Patel is passionate about promoting the importance of raising awareness about cancer and of early detection in ensuring timely, successful treatment. In February 2020, he received the Best Oncologist Award at the fourth edition of the World Health and Wellness Congress and Awards.
